Why do I enjoy working at i2s?
At i2s, we have been working continuously throughout the company’s history on new and innovative sensor solutions that have also been addressing environmental and sustainability issues for many years. We develop pressure and temperature sensors for both battery and hydrogen powered vehicles, which lets us make our own contribution to a cleaner environment.
What do you particularly appreciate about your work at i2s?
In development, teams from different departments work together across disciplines. We have a high level of expert knowledge that’s complemented by a collaborative and team-oriented way of working. It’s fun to identify solutions together.

Career for students
i2s offers students from various disciplines the opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into the day-to-day work of an innovative industrial company.
We offer free places within the scope of an internship or a working student activity. There is also the possibility to write your diploma, final or project thesis in cooperation with our company.
Unfortunately, there are currently no topics to choose from. However, you are very welcome to submit your topic suggestions to us.

Why do I enjoy working at i2s?
i2s has grown from a small company to a substantial medium-sized enterprise and supplies components that are “Made in Saxony” to various customers in various parts of the world. As someone returning to the area, i2s has made it possible for me to regain a foothold in my home region. I am proud to be able to contribute to the company and to support our regional economic area.
What do you particularly appreciate about your work at i2s?
I like the challenge, and there’s plenty of it thanks to the innovative product developments at i2s. It never gets boring, and it’s always exciting and varied. But I particularly appreciate my colleagues – together, we overcome these challenges through good teamwork in both good and difficult times.
What are the advantages of working at i2s for you?
Thanks to i2s and our sensors, I can be part of the big picture in the automotive sector. Working within the framework of the automotive standards helps me to continue developing in terms of methodology. The complex products and interdisciplinary project teams result in enormous enhancements to our knowledge in various subject areas as well.
