i2s – Intelligente Sensorsysteme Dresden GmbH
As part of the Amphenol Corporation, we are represented worldwide.
We have summarised our most important milestones for you.
We offer you an extensive product portfolio. In addition, we develop and manufacture customised sensors for your specific application.
From sensors for air-conditioning systems to oil pressure – we offer you intelligent solutions for battery and hydrogen propulsion as well as for internal-combustion engines.
Commercial vehicles are equipment for the working world – we equip your commercial vehicles with first-class sensor technology.
We have developed pressure sensors specifically for use in hydrogen environments, for air-conditioning solutions and process control, and for stationary energy generation by fuel cells.
The modular design of our sensors makes it possible to create an individual solution for your specific application! Why? Because we design and manufacture customised sensors. Whether it’s modifications to a mechanical or electronic design or a new, customised development – we implement your requirements quickly and cost-effectively.
Our climate-pressure sensors are installed in air-conditioning systems for temperature regulation.
Our combined pressure and temperature sensors are used to measure the oil pressure in the transmission.
Our intelligent sensor systems are also used in motorsports.
Our combined pressure and temperature sensors for low and high pressure are used in e-mobility.
Hydrogen propulsion is the future for environmentally friendly commercial vehicles and buses.
Whether it’s pressure, temperature or both in a single sensor: i2s develops and manufactures sensor technology that is used on a daily basis in the automotive sector, commercial vehicles, mechanical engineering, measurement and testing technology, industry and, increasingly, in data centre. With over 20 years’ experience, we bring our expertise directly to your project – from established series products to new, tailor-made developments.
For industry applications and HVCAR
The VSP pressure sensor is available in a full stainless- steel design for universal use in general industrial applications. Its robust, all-welded stainless-steel construction makes it a reliable solution wherever broad media compatibility and resistance to harsh operating conditions are required.
Measurements of relative pressure up to 200 bar are possible with the VSP. Its specially developed evaluation electronics permit accurate and stable measurements across an industrial operating temperature range of −40 °C to 125 °C. The sensor is available with an analog voltage output or a 4–20 mA current-loop output, enabling straightforward integration into standard industrial control and monitoring systems – from PLC-based automation to the monitoring infrastructure of data center cooling circuits.

Specially developed measuring element and evaluation electronics
Variety of electrical connections and output signals available
1) Other pressure and electrical connections available on request 2) Includes repeatability, hysteresis, non-linearity (TBL), calibration and temperature effects; depends on pressure and temperature range 3) Other media possible if material-compatible
The Data Center Coolant Pressure Sensor (DCP) is designed for installation in the liquid cooling circuit of data center racks and monitors the coolant pressure at the racks' inlet and outlet to assess cooling performance and protect the server blades.
The Data Center Coolant Pressure Sensor for Quick Connectors (DCPQ) monitors data center liquid cooling loops at rack and blade level and enables detection of leaks, blockages, and interruptions in the coolant flow.
The IPS pressure sensor is used in applications where high demands are placed on a sensor’s robustness and fluid compatibility.
